Swimsuits To Rock All Summer Long

Shopping should be a fun thing right? Well no, not always, not for me anyway. There’s certain items I have a love/hate relationship for. It’s the feeling when summer roles around, and I’m happy to finally be getting some vitamin D, but I get a little anxious when shopping for swimsuits. Unfortunately, theres no getting around it, and if you plan on heading to the beach, lounging by the pool, or planning a get-a-way to your next vacation, you should be doing it in style! Finding the right swimsuit can be stressful for numerous reasons, but one thing I try to keep in mind when searching for the right one is that we all have different shapes, and we should embrace that. I’ll be honest, I don’t always feel comfortable showing off my body, but I’m starting to become more… View Post

The Elevated Casual Look

If you asked me how I’d define my style, I probably couldn’t give you an answer. I guess it’s because I never tailor my outfits any specific way. I either have the urge to look festive or I’m in comfort over everything mode. Then that’s when it suddenly hit me! Why couldn’t I have the best of both worlds and curate looks that are elevated yet casual? So here it is, my ELEVATED CASUAL LOOK! I couldn’t think of a better way to combine this polka dot open back maxi from ASOS and these chunky “dad” FILA Disruptors. I know..it’s a pretty long description for a pair of sneakers, but they’re so ugly that they’re so adorable…so it sounds exactly how they look! If you aren’t convinced on trading your heels in for sneakers yet, I’ll give you 3 reasons… View Post

The Sleek Suit

For some women, suits can feel stuffy and a bit constricted, but there’s something about a suit that’ll always be classic, and with a history of women wearing and designing them (Coco Chanel, Jackie Kennedy, Madonna), there’s nothing more I love than a sleek suit to make a woman feel like a #bossbabe. I’ve had my eye on a few suits for the last couple of months, and with the weather fluctuating so much, it’s been a struggle knowing what to wear. That’s why it’s important to have items that are easy to transition into, and a blazer and trouser combination is a perfect outfit for those in-between seasons. I like the way the two pieces look sophisticated together, but you could also get use out of each item separately. That’s 3 outfits in 1, and thats a win in… View Post

2018 Spring Accessory Trends

There’s exactly 5 days left until Spring, and I couldn’t be more than happy to add some color to my closet. Just thinking about the change of season makes me smile, and I’m excited to bring some fun looks your way soon! I’ve been putting an emphasis on using accessories to add to my outfits lately, and I really love the way they complement my look. Accessorizing is a perfect way to add some flavor to your style, so today I’m sharing a few Spring accessory trends that will elevate your look 🙂 Statement Earrings. I just purchased a couple from H&M and they were pretty inexpensive. They feel really light on my ears too, which is important if you plan on wearing them for a long period of time. I tend to lean towards statement pieces when I feel… View Post

The Belt Bag

Belt bags…my new obsession and definitely a top five when it comes to Spring trends. You’re probably thinking, what’s the difference between a belt bag and a fanny pack? They look exactly the same. They do…in a way. Belt bags have a more sophisticated/modern look to them. You can also dress them up and down. Fanny pack’s may not work too well for special occasions, but if you get the right belt bag, you’ll be able to wear it to any formal event. I’ve used this Louis Vuitton Monogram Pochette bag as a wallet, clutch, and how I have it pictured, wrapped around my waist like a belt. I was really indecisive about this purchase (I thought long and hard before investing in this piece LOL), but I eventually caved in and being able to wear it different ways sealed the deal.… View Post
